Join me at The Hidden Hive for a wonderful workshop experience learning how to make your own beautiful ombre yarn art feather.

Want to try your hand at making your own?

During this 2.5hr 'hands on' workshop you will learn how to make a beautiful ombre yarn art feather that is an absolute joy to make and is a fantastic way to learn this relaxing and therapeutic craft, also known as "symmography." 

It originated in the late 19th century as a mathematical teaching tool by Mary Everest Boole. She used it as a hands-on educational tool to help children grasp complex mathematical and geometric concepts. Thankfully, for us creative types, it has since evolved from a classroom visual aid into a popular sophisticated contemporary art form, creating stunning visual designs using nails, pins, and coloured yarn or thread.

This workshop is perfect for beginners - no prior experience is needed.
