🌟ABOUT THE WORKSHOP🌟

Join me at The Hidden Hive Workshop this August, for a fun packed afternoon learning how to make your own professional bespoke lampshade right here in Bletchley, Milton Keynes!

During this 2.5hr workshop you will learn how to make a professional hand rolled 30cm drum shade, suitable for either a lamp base or a ceiling pendant.

By making your own lampshade you will have the freedom to chose a fabric that you love and will complement your interior.

🗓️ Date: Saturday 8th August

⏰ Time: 2:30PM - 5:00PM

💰 Cost: £40 per person includes all lampshade-making components except the outer fabric!

This workshop is ideal for complete beginners and is absolutely a NO-sew workshop!

• All the necessary tools, equipment and skill. all you need to bring is your own fabric

• Refreshments are included with unlimited pots of tea and coffee and cake, homemade by Nicky. 🍰 

•By the end of the workshop, your own high quality, professionally finished lampshade to take home!

🌟🌟FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:🌟🌟

You will need to bring enough of your own fabric to cover a lampshade 30cm x 100cm, this way you can ensure that it suits your decor and personal taste.

You will need a minimum of 30cms metre of fabric. I would recommend a fabric made from either cotton or linen for your first project. Please keep in mind that if you are using fabric with a large pattern then you may want to bring more than the minimum size, (ideally 50cm) so you can get the best pattern repeat for your lampshade.

(Any fabric is suitable but please make sure it is light to medium weight, avoid heavy textures, velvet and heavy embellishment.)
