CREATIVE KINUSAIGA (DAYTIME)

🌟ABOUT THE WORKSHOP🌟

Join me at The Hidden Hive Workshop this July to dive into the fascinating world of Kinusaiga, right here in Bletchley, Milton Keynes!

Often described as a “no-sew patchwork” technique, Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form where fabric is carefully tucked into fine grooves to create detailed, quilt-like pictures without any stitching!

During this 2.5hr workshop you’ll use a carefully curated selection of repurposed fabrics to build your kinusaiga artwork.

You’ll be guided step by step through the process, learning how to layer fabrics to create depth, movement and texture within your scene. With plenty of fabric choices available, you’ll be able to personalise your artwork with your own favourite colours, tones and patterns.

Kinusaiga is relaxing, mindful and wonderfully satisfying, this workshop is perfect for beginners as well as anyone who enjoys textile art, colour and creative wellbeing practises.
