This macrame workshop held in the beautiful studio space at The Hidden Hive on Thursday 10th December is ideal to get you started in this satisfying art form. You will make your own beautiful, glowing Christmas macramé lantern that you will look fabulous in your home this winter.

About The Workshop
This workshop is hands on and the perfect first step for anybody, who wants to learn the mindful practise of macrame and make a Christmas lantern perfect for your home or as a gift.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Macrame is a beautifully relaxing craft and a great way of relieving stress!
You’ll be shown how to make your own knotted lantern and learn some of the basic macrame knots as well as how to form these around a repurposed glass jar.
Once you have learned the simple steps to knotting your first jar you’ll get in the flow and will want to make more and more!
Not only will you create a macrame piece that you can proudly say you made yourself, but you will also take home some newfound knowledge and a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Your finished lantern will make the perfect new addition to your home this Christmas or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Beginner-friendly!
This workshop is perfect for beginners - no prior experience is needed.
WHATS INCLUDED
• All materials and equipment to make a stunning glowing lantern from knotted macrame cord, fairy lights and a simple repurposed jar. Extra beads and decorations will be available.
• Choose from a selection of colourful cotton cords.
• Refreshments are included with unlimited mugs of tea and coffee and because it's Christmas there will be mulled wine and mince pies!
•By the end of the workshop your gorgeous handmade macramé winter lantern to take home!
WHAT TO BRING
All materials will be provided.
Reading glasses if you need them!

These are small-group sessions and space is limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
